Introduction

The healthcare sector is under increasing pressure to optimize its processes, especially within the mental healthcare (GGZ) sector. The care providers within the Brothers of Charity experience the need to continuously improve their care delivery by using modern technologies. An important factor in this is the digital support of processes such as Routine Outcome Monitoring (ROM), diagnostics, feedback-driven care and scientific research. Within Brothers of Charity, a project has been set up to implement the Lighthouse QuestManager (QM) software within the 9 Dutch-speaking facilities of Brothers of Charity in order to efficiently support the processes.

  1. Objectives of the Project.

The implementation of the QuestManager has as its primary objective the optimization of various care processes through the use of digital questionnaires. This relates to the following focal points:

  • Diagnostics: Obtaining diagnostic information through standardized and validated questionnaires.
  • Routine Outcome Monitoring (ROM): Monitoring the progress of caregivers so that timely adjustments can be made in the care pathway.
  • Feedback-Driven Care: Facilitating communication between care recipients and care professionals through the use of periodic questionnaires.
  • Scientific Research: Providing data for scientific studies through standardized measurements.
  • Efficiency and Engagement: To actively involve caregivers in their own care process by providing them with periodic, simple questionnaires.
  1. Integration withcare record Obasi

One of the most important parts of the implementation is the integration of QuestManager with the Obasi healthcare record. This ensures that patient data is exchanged efficiently and securely.

The links realized include:

  • Caregiver Characteristics Exchange: Transferring patient information to QuestManager.
  • Single Sign On (SSO): A seamless login experience for caregivers and caregivers.
  • Automatic scheduling of questionnaires: Based on the selected care pathway in the Obasi care record, the appropriate questionnaires and measurement pathways are automatically scheduled with the caregiver so that questionnaires can be administered at the appropriate times.
  • Outcomes data in the Obasi care file: The results of completed questionnaires are automatically sent back to the Obasi care file.
  • Connection with Heros Portal: With the connection to the patient portal of the Obasi care file, it is possible for the caregiver to complete the questionnaires via the Heros patient portal. This ensures that the caregiver has one central place where he can perform various activities around his care.

The implementation of QuestManager has resulted in:

  • An integrated system in which QuestManager works seamlessly with the Obasi care record.
  • Standardized work processes for the use of digital questionnaires in the provision of care.
  • Efficient reports that are valuable to both caregivers and caregivers.
  • Increased patient participation through the use of dynamic and user-friendly questionnaires.
  • Replacement of paper questionnaires with digital versions, saving time and improving documentation.
  1. Summary

The implementation of the QuestManager software at Brothers of Charity is an important step in improving quality of care and efficiency within the mental health system. By integrating modern technologies and involving caregivers in their own care process, both caregivers and caregivers are supported in their processes. The accurate coordination of the software with the Obasi care file and the correct configuration of questionnaires will contribute to a standardized, efficient and user-friendly working method in the care facilities of Brothers of Charity.
